Venture West Funding Makes 2018 Commercial Debt and Equity Rainmaker List

EL SEGUNDO, CA - Matt Douglas and Steven Smith of Venture West Funding are named to Real Estate Forum Magazine's 2018 Commercial Debt and Equity Rainmaker List. The annual list features the top commercial debt and equity originators in the United States based on number of loans and loan volume. Steven and Matt were ranked #20 overall and #10 in total loan originations. According to the Mortgage Bankers Association, “Commercial and multifamily mortgage bankers closed a record $530.1 billion of loans in 2017.” This was an 8% increase from the year before. Jamie Woodwell, MBA’s Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Research said, “We expect another robust year in 2018, even with the slight increase in interest rates.” Matt and Steven are excited to build off of their success and use their expertise to lead another prosperous campaign in 2018.
