Venture West Funding Arranges $14 Million Loan on Thousand Oaks, California Retail Center
El Segundo, CA – April 13, 2016 – Venture West Funding, Inc., a mortgage company headquartered in El Segundo, CA announced it has arranged a $14 million loan for the refinance of Newbury Park Gateway, a 100,867 s.f. retail center located at 1930-1960 Newbury Road, Thousand Oaks, California. Newbury Park Gateway is anchored by Kohl’s and also includes Starbucks, Pickles Delicatessen, Sharky’s Woodfired Mexican Grill, Paradise Nail & Spa, and Exotic Thai restaurant.
Venture West Funding’s Principal Matt Douglas arranged the financing through Jackson Life Insurance Company, an affiliate of PPM Finance, Inc. The non-recourse loan was locked at a very competitive 15-year fixed rate with 25 years of amortization. According to Mr. Douglas, “Our timing was impeccable. With their previous loan maturing, the borrower was able to take advantage of this low interest rate environment and secure long term debt at a very competitive rate.” The Venture West team worked diligently with the borrower and lender to ensure a successful loan closing.
