Venture West Funding Moves Corporate Offices
El Segundo, Calif.-(BUSINESS WIRE) – March 3, 2005--Southern California-based Venture West Funding, Inc. announced it has arranged a $9.6 million refinance loan on One Civic Plaza in Carson, CA. The 127,849 sq. ft.-project is a six-story Class A office building located at 1 Civic Plaza Drive. The building enjoys a key location on a prime stretch of the San Diego Freeway Corridor between the Long Beach Airport and the junction of the 110 and 405 Freeways with convenient access to the 105 and 91 Freeways.
One Civic Plaza was constructed in 1989 and purchased in 2001. Major tenants include the City of Torrance, Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority and Merchants Bank.
Matt Douglas of Venture West arranged the financing with Allstate for owner Ed-Pac, Inc., an affiliate of Robertson Properties Group, and other related entities. One Civic Plaza is within the 11.5-acre Carson Civic Center redevelopment area that includes restaurants, a 224-room Hilton Hotel and Conference Center, the Carson Municipal Convention Center, Carson City Hall and a Los Angeles Sheriffs’ substation.
“To meet our client’s needs, we arranged an adjustable rate loan at today’s highly-favorable rates,” said Mr. Douglas.
